Task D- Activities
All of the activities foreseen within the original project plan were delivered during the project timescales. However, the Task D partners did make some minor amendments to the original plan:
- An additional kick-off meeting specifically for Task D partners was held in Tallinn, Estonia, on 2nd and 3rd April 2012 and was extremely productive.
- Workshops 1 and 2 were held on two consecutive days in Riga, Latvia. Workshops 3 and 4 were held on two successive days in Warsaw, Poland. The purpose of combining the workshops into two rather than four separate events was to reduce project expenditure on travel and subsistence.
- Task D partner produced three additional deliverables – three technical reports Three additional deliverables were also produced in connection with Workshops 1, 2 and 3. The Task D partnership decided that it would be beneficial for the hosts of each workshop to produce a Technical Report to document the content of presentations delivered during their workshops. These technical reports were not originally foreseen within the project plan but bring significant European added-value to the project as they will enable flood prevention practitioners from across Europe to access information about the good practices that were exchanged during the project.
