Task E- Evaluation of Task management/implementation process
Positive aspect is the established network and its wide area of competence. Increased knowledge about the different forest fire danger risk systems in the Baltic Sea area is also a positive aspect.
One difficulty is the travel distances and available flights when having meetings which result in inconvenient long working days for some participants. Lingual barriers reduce the possibility to have good discussions and also make it difficult to take part of documents in national languages. It was unclear in the beginning of the project if Russia should participate in task E. Which made the planning more difficult. The cooperation in the core group functioned very well.
Positive that CBSS handle all contacts with EU COM.
Increased knowledge about the different forest fire danger risk systems in the Baltic
Sea area is also a positive aspect for the European added value.
The time need for administration take a large part of the project time. Better and earlier project support e.g. forms, document, updated project calendar for all tasks, etc are possible improvements. The project could benefit from an updated website with produced and updated document.
